At first I couldn’t like Gabe because he was being such a stalking jerk. Then he seemed to reform and I couldn’t understand why Regan would put herself through so much hell in this tight-knit, censoring town. All the while enjoying the way the author wrote such hot and steamy sexual tension while at the same time developing side characters that were too good or too bad to be true. At times I just shook my head when it came to the grandma being so friendly and supportive of the woman who broke up her granddaughter’s marriage. And this was supposed to be a really tight family unit. And Grandma wanted Gabe and Regan to get together, Regan the other woman in her granddaughter’s life who had a child with her granddaughter’s husband. Of course the wronged wife ends up being the child’s devoted music teacher. Okay, I reached the limit of my keeping-things- credible.
All those complaints aside, I kept reading to the end. The writing was good and those sexy scenes were well done.
