Description from amazon.com:

Done with being the world’s biggest pushover, Haley decides that things are going to change starting with the aggravating neighbor who has too much charm and not enough restraint. What she didn’t expect was to sucked into his world, but Haley has a game plan and she won’t let herself forget just what the bad boy next door is capable of.

The last thing Jason expected was for his little shy neighbor to go Rambo on him over some ruined flowers. After he decides to take her under his wing he can’t help but that notice that she fits very nicely in his life. Now the only left is to convince her that this is anything but a game.

**

For me, this novel was just disappointing.  The writing was good.  As far as this chick-Lit genre goes, it would appeal to many.  It just wasn’t for me.

The humor was often forced and the characters were stereotypes of snobs, bullies, womanizers, catty bitches and immature grown-ups.  I found it hard to get behind a male protagonist who was so immature and a female who wasn’t much better.  She was saving herself for the man she would marry but proceeded to indulge in a brothel madam’s list of sexual indulgences.  As in so many stories, here we get the misunderstandings that compound the difficulties between the two main characters, but all is resolved for the happily ever after end.
