Description from amazon.com:

After the death of her miserly cousin Antony North, Millicent Boarder is determined her family should never be poor or vulnerable again. To protect them she conceals her cousin’s death and assumes his identity. Now she must face the Ton and the world as Mr. North and accept the price she must pay for her family’s safety — she will never be loved.
Which means, of course, at this point she will meet the perfect man.

**

To thoroughly enjoy this book you must hold on to the notion that Millicent can actually fool everyone into thinking she is a man.  I had no problem with that.  The premise made for some farcical situations that will definitely bring on a smile.  I found myself feeling heartsick on Millicent’s behalf when she falls desperately in love and must continue with her masquerade. This is a well written romance with an off beat premise.

Well I love Twelfth Night and this one sounds original. I think I will give this one a try. I’m currently reading Children of Men, which is an excellent but very somber book, so I will need something light hearted after this.
